Memory of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk commemorated in Nakhchivan [PHOTOS]
Nakhchivan hosted a commemoration in memory of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of the Republic of Turkiye.
As part of the ceremony, the monument of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in Nakhchivan was visited. During the event, the dear memory of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, and the martyrs of the two brotherly countries were commemorated with a minute's silence.
Consul General of Turkiye in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Asip Kaya laid a wreath in front of the monument.
Representatives of the state and government, officers of the military attaché of the Turkish Armed Forces in the Republic of Azerbaijan, Turkish citizens and students studying in Nakhchivan laid flowers in front of the monument and paid their respects to the memory of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
The commemorative event was continued at the Consulate General of Turkey in Nakhchivan.
First, the national anthems of both countries were played, the life and military-political activities of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk were discussed in the speeches, and videos were presented.
