Ganja State Philharmonic Hall marks 530th anniversary of Muhammad Fuzuli [PHOTOS]
A concert titled "Fuzuli in Music" has been held at Ganja State Philharmonic Hall to mark the 530th anniversary of the great Azerbaijani poet and thinker Muhammad Fuzuli (1494–1556), Azernews reports.
The concert featured performances by soloists—People's Artist Sevinj Ibragimova, Honored Cultural Worker Mehpara Jafarova, and Honored Artists Kyamal Tagizade, Tural Abdullayev, and vocalist Vasif Barayev.
The audience enjoyed ghazals based on the works of Muhammad Fuzuli, including “Könlümü dərdə salan,” “Qəlbi pərişan eləmə,” “Vəslin mənə,” “Dil giriftar olub,” “Əfsanəsi budur,” “Ey Dilruba,” “Ağlaram,” and “Xəndandır bu.”
