International Mugham Center hosts concert dedicated to Fuzuli [PHOTOS]
International Mugham Center has hosted a concert "Füzuli Muğam Dünya" (World of Fuzuli Mugham) to mark the 530th anniversary of the great Azerbaijani poet and thinker Muhammad Fuzuli (1494–1556), Azernews reports.
The event was organized as part of the "From Ganja to Baku" project carried out by the Ganja State Philharmonic Hall and in collaboration with the International Mugham Center.
The concert program featured soloists from the International Mugham Center, including Kamila Nabieva, Huseyn Melikov (khanenda), Elnur Mikailov (kamancha), Rashad Ibrahimov (tar), honored artist Kamran Karimov (naghara), and Idris Guseynov (oud), as well as soloists from the Ganja State Philharmonic Shirhan Jahangirov, Zamina Mustafaeva, and Azer Vardiyev (khanenda).
The mugham compositions "Bayatı Şiraz," "Mahur," "Rast," and "Şahnaz" were presented to the audience.
