National Art Museum to display Sattar Bahlulzade's art pieces
Azerbaijan National Art Museum invites art enthusiasts to enjoy an exhibition "Sattar Bahlulzade - a wonderful tale of nature" on November 7, Azernews reports.
The exhibition is timed to the 115th anniversary of People's Artist Sattar Bahlulzade, a prominent representative of modern landscape painting.
Co-organized by Azerbaijan Culture Ministry and National Art Museum, the exhibition will open in the framework of the 2024 UN Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC COP 29).
More than 40 paintings and graphic boards reflecting the Azerbaijani nature, unique color, harmony, and unfading beauty of the genius artist will be displayed at the exhibition, which lasts until January 31, 2025.
Founded in 1937, the National Art Museum offers art connoisseurs some of the best examples of decoratively applied arts in Western Europe.
Over 3,000 items in 60 rooms are on permanent display at the museum, and around 12,000 items are kept in storage. Here, you can see masterpieces of the Italian, French, German, and Polish masters of brush.
The museum has successfully organized and hosted numerous high-level international exhibitions, showcasing the works of renowned artists.
