Azer Guliyev's short feature film "The Red Color of the Second Planet" has been awarded Silver Centaur at the 34th International Documentary, Short Feature and Animated Film Festival "Message to Man" held in St. Petersburg, Russia, Azernews reports.
The film was presented in the "Short Feature Films" program. The cinema work was dedicated to the 44-day Patriotic War, was shot as part of the "Great Return" (Böyük Qayıdış) project initiated by the Azerbaijan Culture Ministry.
The action of the film "The Red Color of the Second Planet" by Azer Guliyev takes place against the backdrop of ongoing hostilities, when the main character Musa encounters that mysterious unity without which he would not have found himself and his freedom. From here begins his past, his experiences and his future...
The co-stars of the movie, produced at the Film Studio Mozalan, are Diana Hajiyeva, Rafael Shahbeyli, Aydan Hasanzade and Ali Nasib.

The Grand Prix "Golden Centaur" for the best film of the festival was awarded to the Franco-Swiss film "The Night is Dark. Goodbye Here and Everywhere" by director Sylvain Georges.
