Fuzuli's literary legacy highlighted in Baku [PHOTOS]
This year marks the 530th anniversary of the birth of Azerbaijani poet and thinker Muhammad Fuzuli, Azernews reports.
The poet took an exceptional place in the development of the literary and artistic thought of Azerbaijan and had an important influence on the literature of the Near and Middle Eastern countries.
A virtual book exhibition has been prepared at the Republican Youth Library in order to promote Fuzuli's literary legacy.
The project focuses on Fuzuli's poetry, valuable opinions of prominent people about him and much more.
At the virtual book exhibition, extensive information was provided about the his works, including poems and ghazals written in Azerbaijani, Arabic and Persian languages, short abstracts of more than 20 books. The exhibition is posted on the library's official website.
A traditional exhibition called "Muhammad Fuzuli- 530" was also organized in the library. Books about Fuzuli, the bibliographic bulletin "Genius Azerbaijani poet Muhammad Fuzuli - 530" prepared by the library staff are displayed at the exhibition.
