UNESCO calls on young photographers
UNESCO calls on young photographers around the world, aged 14 to 25 years old, to join the Youth Eyes on the Silk Roads Photo Contest.
Established in 2018 on the initiative of renowned photographer Reza Deghati, the photo competition is being held for the fifth time, Azernews reports.
The contest is divided into two age groups: 14-17 years old, and 18-25 years old.
This year, the themes are Architecture, Monuments, and Urbanism. Entries may focus on either of these, while concentrating on mutual influences shared by people along the Silk Roads.
A maximum of 20 photos is required to upload. A caption in digital format (JPEG or JPG) must be included for each photograph or series of photographs. The quality of the photos should be at least 1500 pixels wide for horizontal images and 1500 pixels high for vertical images.
Valuable prizes will be presented to the winners of the competition. The photographs will be published in a photo album as well. Moreover, photo works will also be displayed in a traveling exhibition to be organized in different countries.

1st place: Professional digital single lens reflex camera with
18-55mm lens
2nd place: Semi-professional digital camera
3rd place: Digital camera
