GARABAGH'18 3rd International Forum kicks off [PHOTO]

GARABAGH'18 3rd International Forum of EYP Azerbaijan solemnly opened in International Mugham Center on July 3 in Barda.
The forum on Karabakh is held by the Azerbaijani representation of the European Youth Parliament with the support of the Council of State Support to NGOs under the President of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Youth and Sport, Qarabag football club and Barda Executive Power.
More than 100 people are taking part in the Forum, including Azerbaijani students from 20 European countries, Trend Life reported.
The event started with the performance of the national anthem of Azerbaijan.
Chairman of the Council of State Support of NGOs under the President of Azerbaijan Azay Guliyev, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Farhad Hajiyev, plenipotentiary representative of Azerbaijan in the European Court of Human Rights Chingiz Asgarov and representative of Qarabag FC Arif Bayramov, greeted the participants of the forum and wished them a successful work.
The forum agenda includes topical issues related to the international peace, environmental protection, food security, employment, etc. The final proposals will be submitted for discussion to the General Assembly of the European Youth Parliament, which is located in Berlin. The forum also proposes to adopt resolutions that will be submitted to the international office of the European Youth Parliament.
The vivid concert program was presented to the guests. Accompanied by the honored artists Sahib Pashazade (tar) and Togrul Asadullaev (kamancha) and winners of mugham TV contest Gulnar Gudretli, Orhan Huseynli, Nurlan Namazov and Nisbat Sadrayeva brilliantly performed "Sarı gəlin", "Segah", "Qatar" and other musical compositions.
GARABAGH'18 3rd International Forum of EYP Azerbaijan will run until July 8. A cultural program has also been prepared for the participants of the event.
Today the EYP is one of the largest European platforms for political debate, intercultural encounters, educational work and the exchange of ideas among young people in Europe. The EYP consists of a network of 41 European associations and organizations in which thousands of young people are active in a voluntary capacity.
Notably, European Youth Parliament operates in 41 countries in Europe. The Azerbaijan representative office was established in 2010. The organization unites the patriotic active youth committed to the state policy.
