Hungarian folk music rich in themes and tunes is known today throughout the world.
Don't miss a chance to enjoy incredible Hungarian folk music in Baku.
On the end of Hungary’s Visegrad Group Presidency, the Embassy of Hungary in cooperation with YARAT Contemporary Art Space will host Folk Music Concert on June 30.
The event will pay tribute to the common musical heritage of the Visegrad countries. Before the concert, the guests can enjoy a training session of Hungarian folk dances under the guidance of professional dancers from Hungary.
The young masters of folk art Khadjara Tamash and Khadjara Hertseg Khadjnalka will perform the Hungarian dances.
The dancers will be accompanied by the Magos orchestra.
The concert starts at 5:30 pm. Admission is free.

YARAT is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to nurturing an understanding of contemporary art in Azerbaijan and to creating a platform for Azerbaijani art, both nationally and internationally. Based in Baku, YARAT (meaning CREATE in Azerbaijani) was founded by Aida Mahmudova in 2011.
It realizes its mission through an on-going program of exhibitions, education events and festivals. YARAT facilitates exchange between local and international artistic networks including foundations, galleries and museums.
YARAT comprises YARAT Art Centre, ARTIM Project Space, YARAT Studios, YAY Gallery and an extended educational and public programme.
