Spring is the season of new beginnings. Fresh buds bloom, animals awaken and the earth seems to come to life again.

There are many kinds of celebrations in spring.

During this wonderful season, Azerbaijanis all around the world are looking forward to one of the most beloved and holidays - Novruz Bayrami.

A feast of spring features a series of events to mark this ancient holiday.

Since February 27, the Azerbaijani Carpet Museum holds events dedicated to one most pleasant and joyful holidays in Azerbaijan.

Every Tuesday, museums hosts special programs associated with four elements - water, fire, earth and wind.

The program includes educational and recreational activities, including master classes and various interesting training. Beautiful songs and astonishing dance numbers performed by talented pupils of Baku schools won’t leave you indifferent.

In the section "Study and entertain" little guests could familiarize themselves with the different traditions associated with the four Tuesdays before Novruz.

However, there is also a special day for women in spring-International Women's Day which is celebrated in the first month of spring on March 8.

The museum's children department will hold a special program on March 3-4, to honor women all around the world. A number of master classes will be held to prepare gifts and souvenirs for women.
