Azerbaijani dancers wins in Russia [PHOTO]

Revived children's ensemble "Cücələrim" in 20 years proved its legendary skills at the international festival-competition "Christmas Star".
At the invitation of the festival committee, "City Life" ensemble of the Republican Center for Child and Youth Development under the Azerbaijan Ministry of Education , the ensemble visited the 17th Annual International Children's Creative Forum and festival-competition "Christmas Stars - 2018", Azertac reported.
The spectacular grandiose international festival, which brought together creative teams from different countries took place on January 5-9 in Moscow.
National ensemble performed in the nomination "Choreography - National Dances" and won first place. They performed to the work Gaytagi by Tofig Guliyev. The winners were awarded with diplomas and the Cup.
"I am sincerely grateful to the children and choreographers of the ensemble for this victory. We will do everything to ensure that our children travel more often and take part in various festivals. We have a wonderful and talented youth," said the director of the ensemble "Cücələrim" Firuza Sultanzade.
A colorful cultural program was prepared for the participants of the festival. They visited the main Christmas tree of Russia in the Kremlin, Big Christmas Ball, circus, Moscow Zoo, got acquainted with various sights of the Russian capital.
The delegation also visited the Azerbaijani embassy in Russia, where a special program was prepared for children.
The festival was held by the festival committee "Life of Cities", based on the Moscow Directorate of the UNESCO International Conference "Culture of Young Cities", under the patronage of the Department of Culture of Moscow and the Moscow Federation of Trade Unions.
The festival aims to bring together children from different cities of Russia and foreign countries to exchange creative achievements, communicate and participate in the competition.
This year more than 2500 participants were accredited at the festival. The jury included the leading soloists of the Bolshoi Theater, famous cultural figures, Russian pop stars.
