The 2nd Azerbaijan's Intellectual Game Championship expands its boundaries.

This time, the championship will cover 70 cities and country's regions, Trend Life reported.

The project is co-organized by the IRELI Public Association and Azerbaijan Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Chairman of IRELI Public Union Mirgasan Seyidov stressed that the main aim of the project, implemented within the state program "Azerbaijani youth in 2017-2021", is to develop the intellectual movement in the country, assist youth education and reveal talented young people for participation in international games.

More than 1000 young people will join the intellectual games "What? Where? When?, "Khamsa", "Find" and "Know your country" as part of the competition.

Qualifying rounds will take place in nine country's regions, including Sumgait, Guba, Terter, Ismayilli, Sheki, Mingachevir, Sabirabad, Lankaran and Nakhchivan.

Each city or region can be represented by only one team with 18 participants. The best teams will take part in the final stage, which will be held in Baku.

The event will honor the memory of the Azerbaijan's national leader Heydar Aliyev. The winners will be awarded with medals, certificates and valuable prizes.

Media partners of the event are Trend.az, Day.az, Milli.az and Azernews.az.
