Baku to host Turkish and Egyptian Culture Days

Baku will host Culture Days of Turkey and Egypt, organized by Turkish and Egyptian embassies in Baku and Tourism Promotion Agency.

Egyptian Culture Day will take place in the Sabir Park on May 19.

The exhibition will start at 14:00, while the concert program will begin at 19:00.

Turkish Culture Days will be held on May 20-21. More than 90 artists and dancers from Istanbul and Bursa will take part in the event.

Athletes of Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games and officials will be honored guests of the culture days.

The Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games, the opening ceremony of which took take place May 12, started May 8 and will last until May 22 in Azerbaijan’s capital.

Athletes from Islamic countries around the world will be representing their nations over 10 days of competition across

capital city Baku was awarded the Games at the General Assembly of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation (ISSF) in Jeddah in July 2013.
