Azerbaijani writer Shirin Shafiyeva won a prestigious literary prize "Russian Award".

Shirin Shafiyeva awarded the second place in the nomination "Major prose" for the manuscript "Salsa and Spindle", Trend Life reported.
"Salsa and the Spindle" is a novel about love, dance and magic. Salsa is kind of Latin dance, and the Spindle is a nickname of the dance teacher which was given him due to the special dance movement. Dance is actually a metaphor, says the heroine.
The "Russian Award" was established in 2005. All poets and writers from different countries, who write in Russian, can become the laureate of the prize.
