Parvin Safarov is a villager, who’s continuing the ancient traditions of farming while reaching a new audience through social media.

The 27-year-old shepherd from the Gadag village of Azerbaijan’s Neftchala region has suddenly become famous thanks to his brilliant voice and performance of the national music.

Despite lack of a musical education, Safarov’s performance can make envy even many professional singers.

Safarov, talking to Xəzərxəbər, said that unfortunately he has not learned singing professionally.

However, thanks to his sensitivity to music, Parvin can sing any song after hearing it only once.

"I was born and raised in the village. I have never been outside the village. I haven't learn singing professionally, but I dream to perform on the professional stage", he said.

Although he is still far from the professional stage, due to his talent, Parvin has already gained an appreciative audience.
