Heydar Aliyev Palace to host concert of national jazz artists

Heydar Aliyev Palace will host a concert of famous Azerbaijani jazz performers on February 16, Trend Life reported.
Azerbaijani jazzmen, including Enver Sadigov, Javan Zeynalli, Jamil Amirov, Akif Suleymanbeyli and Emil Afrasiyab, as well as the groups "Rast" and "Gaya" will amaze audience with energetic performances.
Besides jazz compositions of Azerbaijani composers, concert program also includes works by world-famous authors.
Tickets for the concert, which begins at 19:00, cost 20-50 AZN ($ 11-27). They can be purchased online via iTicket.az, at the ticket offices and ASAN service centers.

Azerbaijani jazz is a unique music, combining classical and Azerbaijani folklore genre. The foundation of Azerbaijani jazz was laid by the State Pop Orchestra known as "State jazz" at the end of the 30-es by Niyazi and T. Guliyev.
The Land of Fire is very rich with such prominent and talented musicians as Rain Sultanov, Jamil Amirov, Salman Gambarov, as well as young genius conquering worldwide fame Isfar Sarabski, Nurlan Novrasli, Emil Afrasiab, Elchin Shirinov and more.
Currently "Baku Jazz Center" operating in Baku greatly contributes to the development of jazz in Azerbaijan.
