Baku hosted a final of the intellectual project "Azerbaijan's Intellectual Superiority", Trend Life reported.

Co-organized by “IRELI” Public Union and the Youth and Sports Ministry, the project aims to develop and back the intellectual movement in the country, assist youth education and reveal talented young people.

The intellectual competitions "What? Where? When?" , "Khamsa", "Find" and "Know your country" were held as part of the project. Over 1,000 young geniuses competed in the project.

Addressing the event, Head of the Sector for work with youth organizations under the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration's Social and Political Department, Vusal Guliyev, Executive Director of the Youth Fund under the President, Farhad Hajiyev, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Intigam Babayev , Head of Youth and Sports Committee of the Parliament Fuad Muradov and Chairman of IRELI Public Union Mirgasan Seyidov stressed that the state youth policy has been successfully implemented in all spheres of life.

All necessary conditions have been created for young people to reach their full potential.

President of the Club of intellectual games "Azerbaijan", Aydin Piriyev and Head of the national game "Khamsa" Faig Huseynov said that the project made a significant contribution to the development of intellectual movement in the country.

The event was followed by the final games.

Tural Musayev gained the victory in the game " Know your country" . Afag Gardashov was second, while Agil Mammadov ranked third.

Participants from Binagadi district, Absheron and Lankaran regions took the first three places in the game" Find".

Participants from Absheron and Saatli regions,as well as Yasamal district regions took the first three places in the game "What? Where? When?".

All the winners were awarded with medals, certificates and valuable prizes.
