Exhibition by Azerbaijani cartoonist opens in Kyiv [PHOTO]

A solo exhibition by Azerbaijani cartoonist Bayram Hajizade opened in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Representatives of Ukrainian public, artists, mass media, officials as well as employees of Azerbaijan's Embassy in Ukraine attended the event, Azertac reported.
Being one of the eminent fine art masters in Turkey, Bayram Hajizade is in constant search for synthesis of East and West traditions, of national originality.
Preserving philosophical world view basis and poetry of Eastern classical art along with outlook of contemporary man distinguishes his paintings.
His cartoons are filled with deep philosophy easily accepted by the viewers.
Bayram Hajizade was elected chairman of Azerbaijan Cartoonists Union in 2006.
Since 2006, he is a president of Azerbaijan Group in International Federation of Cartoonists Organizations (FECO).
In 2007, he was awarded the honorary title of Honored Art Worker. In 2008, he defended thesis on the development of caricature , and has received the scientific degree of candidate of art criticism.
He is organizer of the International Cartoon Contest Molla Nasreddin held in Azerbaijan.
No wonder the artist's works awarded prizes at international competitions and festivals in Ukraine, USA and Cuba.
The artist's personal exhibitions have been successfully carried out in Azerbaijan, Iran and Turkey.
