Azerbaijan joins Int'l Festival of Cultural Traditions and National Dishes [PHOTO]

The 14th Festival of Cultural Traditions and National Dishes kicked off in Tashkent this week.
Azerbaijan is represented at the event by the country’s embassy and Azerbaijan Cultural Center named after Heydar Aliyev.
The event demonstrated the culture, traditions and customs of the peoples of different countries, as well as samples of crafts and arts .
Azerbaijan's booth featured the country`s traditional clothes, Karabakh carpets, musical instruments, and souvenirs.
The stand also displayed books about to the life and activities of national leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev.
Karabakh carpets, national clothing as well as folk instruments ( tar, saz, kamancha etc.) aroused great interest among visitors, which is not surprising. Azerbaijan's rich cultural heritage has always been in the center of attention public attention .
The festival ended with gala concert of folk songs and dances.
Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan share historical, cultural, linguistic and religious roots, and are dynamically developing their political, economic and cultural relations.
The diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan were established in October 1995. The two countries have signed over 100 bilateral documents.
