"Seven Beauties" once again staged in Baku [PHOTO]

One of the most beloved ballets, "Seven Beauties" by prominent composer Gara Garayev was once again staged at the State Academic Opera and Ballet in Baku.
"Seven Beauties" ballet was first composed by Gara Garayev in 1952. It is based on motifs of Nizami Ganjavi's "Seven beauties" poem, written in 1197.
The ballet tells the story of a young prince, who draws inspiration and wisdom from his seven international princesses.
The treasury of Azerbaijani culture leaved audience amazed. All tickets were completely sold out.
The audience, among who were a large number of foreigners, warmly and emotionally welcomed artists. The actors’ speech was followed by "thundering applause and endless shouts of 'Bravo!
The ballet was performed by the leading ballet soloists, including People's artist of Azerbaijan Gulagasi Mirzoyev, Nigar Ibrahimova, Alsu Gimadieva, Tamilla Mammadzade and Samir Samedov.
The brilliant performance was conducted by People's artist Javanshir Jafarov.
