Azerbaijan to take part in ECO donor conference in Turkey
The Azerbaijani delegation headed by Agriculture Minister Ismet Abasov left for Turkey to participate in the second conference of donors and the Fifth Meeting of Ministers of Agriculture, and the fourth meeting of senior officials from the member countries of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), the ministry said.
The events will be held in the Turkish city of Antalya on Nov 13-16.
The Economic Cooperation Organisation is a regional intergovernmental economic body established in 1985 by the countries of Central Asia and the Middle East and is the successor of the Regional Cooperation for Development which acted on the basis of the Charter - the Izmir Treaty, signed by three founding countries - Iran, Pakistan and Turkey on March 12, 1977.
