AtaHolding appoints new board chair
BAKU – Major Azerbaijani financial and industrial group AtaHolding has appointed a new steering board chairman. Farid Asadov formally holds the position at the open joint-stock company since April 4, AtaHolding said on Tuesday.
Asadov, 36, had acted as board chairman of AtaSigorta insurance company, which is part of AtaHolding, since 2007.
Gafar Gurbanov, who has served as acting AtaHolding board chairman from 2006, has been elected a member of AtaHolding’s observation council.
