Trade between Azerbaijan and Serbia surges

In 2024, the volume of trade operations between Azerbaijan and Serbia amounted to $190.3 million, Azernews reports, citing the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan. In the past month, $3.4 billion of this turnover was attributed to exports, while $2.5 billion came from imports, which are up by $1.2 billion (or 64.8%) and $910 million (or 79.7%) respectively compared to last year. Furthermore, Azerbaijan's foreign trade showed a positive balance of $986 million, marking an increase of $285 million (or 40.7%) in comparison to the same period in 2023.
