The State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population assisted 366,900 people with active employment measures from January to November of this year.

Azernews reports, citing the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, that 149,000 people were provided with suitable jobs, and 16,100 individuals participated in the self-employment program to establish small family farms.

"Vocational training courses were organized for 14,500 unemployed individuals during the first 11 months of this year, and vocational services were provided to 187,300 people," the report stated.

It should be noted that self-employment means a person securing a job for themselves, either independently or with state support.

To improve the social welfare of low-income families, special emphasis is placed on self-employment measures within social policy.
