During the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), the shuttle usage statistics were announced, Azernews reports, citing the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA).

On the 4th day of the event, reliable transport connections were established from 18 Transport Exchange Centers, and 52,367 passengers were transported.

To ensure the comfortable and safe transportation of COP29 participants, the Azerbaijan LandTransport Agency (AYNA) is operating in an enhanced mode. Over 1,600 staff members, including employees from BakuBus, Baku Taxi Service, and Azparking, have been mobilized to support transport operations.

It should be noted that on the first day of COP29, 35,000 passengers were transported by shuttles, on the second day approximately 45,000, and on the third day 43,000. To date, more than 175,000 passengers have been served.
