Climate Platform for business, investment & philanthropy launched within COP29
At the COP29 climate summit held in Baku, the Climate Platform for business, investment, and philanthropy was launched, Azernews reports.
The event was organized by the COP29 Presidency, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the COP29 high-level champion on climate change.
The purpose of the platform is to bring together leaders from business, finance, and philanthropy to drive joint action to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement.
Organized across several segments, the event will focus on climate finance measures to 2030, accelerating public-private sector collaboration for scaled-up foreign direct investment for climate action, promoting decarbonisation solutions, financing solutions for climate adaptation and resilience, as well as climate leaders' dialogue will be held.
