Azerbaijan, FAO strengthen agricultural cooperation with new agreement
Azerbaijan has signed a Declaration of Intent with the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to enhance collaboration under the "Baku Harmony Climate Initiative for Farmers," part of the broader "Sustainable Transformation for Food and Agriculture" (FAST) initiative. The agreement was signed during the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), at a meeting between Azerbaijan's Minister of Agriculture, Majnun Mammadov, and FAO Director General, Qu Dongyu, Azernews reports.
