Sector Head: There is great interest in Azerbaijani pavilion at Baku Stadium
There is great interest in the Azerbaijani pavilion at the Baku Stadium, where COP29 is being held, Azernews reports, citing Leyla Mahmudova, the project manager of the Azerbaijani pavilion and head of the COP29 Partnership Relations Sector, as she said to Report.
According to her, the Azerbaijani pavilion is one of the largest at the event:
"It covers an area of 450 square meters. It is called 'The House of Solidarity,' meaning the house of unity. Five digital exhibitions are presented here. Along with COP-related elements, the exhibitions include Azerbaijan's 14 initiatives put forward at COP29, Azerbaijan's climate path, and a video presentation about Azerbaijan’s 'green future.' The video highlights Azerbaijan's transformation from a 'black city' to a 'white city,' sustainable transportation, and multiculturalism."
She also mentioned that 80 events are planned to take place at the pavilion: "Both the government and COP29 partners will hold events here. There are two conference rooms and rooms for bilateral meetings."
Mahmudova added that many guests have visited the Azerbaijani pavilion so far, and one of the main attractions is our tea.
