All our work related to nutrition during COP29 in Baku has already been completed. We have been providing food for employees and contractors for more than two months, and we have already completed the trial phase.

Thıs was stated by Anar Zeynalov, head of the Catering, Cleaning, and Waste Management Department for COP29, Azernews reports.

He noted that the renovation of new coffee shops and restaurants in the area has already been completed. Many of them have even started operating, passed tests, and are currently continuing their activities.

"Our portal orders have been activated since the beginning of October, and most of the orders have been fulfilled. We have made all our preparations. We are a team of about 2,000 people, and we are looking forward to November 11."

"In the green zone, we have 56 sales points, two large restaurants, 28 coffee shops and hot tea points, and more than 24 food outlets offering world cuisines, including Italian, Indian, and European. We also have a national kitchen in an area of over 1,000 square meters, where we will present our national dishes to all conference participants."

"Overall, the vast majority of food during the conference—more than 90 percent—will consist of local products. As the COP29 Operating Company, and according to the event format, there will be little preference for imported products, which will also help reduce carbon emissions."

"Prices at food outlets are not much higher than regular city prices; they are quite close to them," he added.
