Azerbaijan exempts renewable energy imports and related equipment from customs duties

Read moreBased on the supporting documents from the State Agency for Renewable Energy Sources under the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the import of renewable energy and related equipment, including devices used for its efficient utilization, as well as parts and accessories for their production, has been exempted from customs duties in accordance with the "Goods Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity (XIFMN) List."
Azernews reports that Prime Minister Ali Asadov has issued the relevant decision in this regard.
This decision will take effect on June 1, 2024, and will remain valid for three years.
