COP29 visa check-in times set at 30 seconds for Azerbaijanis, 45 seconds for expats

Major Nijat Cahidzadeh, a military officer of the command, conveyed this information to journalists during a briefing at the Border Control Command of the State Border Service (SBS), Azernews reports.
He noted that the Border Control Command has been equipped with specialized technical and control equipment to ensure the swift processing of foreign guests arriving in Azerbaijan for the COP29 international conference. Necessary measures have been implemented, and all tasks have been completed successfully.
"The workforce has been increased, and they will operate in enhanced mode. Additionally, appropriate measures have been taken to ensure the stability of the system and network in case of any emergencies during the COP29 event," said the State Border Service official.
