Food waste will be reprocessed as part of the COP29 conference in Baku this year.

He explained that general, packaging, glass, and other waste will be sorted for processing.
"After sorting, the waste will be processed and handed over to the relevant institutions. We will provide fertilizers obtained from food waste to the Baku Improvement Service using special equipment," he said.
Zeynalov noted that there are four kitchens in the area hosting the COP29 conference: three in the "Blue Zone" and one in the "Green Zone," which will feature world cuisine.
He emphasized that cafes and restaurants are organized by zones and can serve over 6,000 guests per hour. Various country pavilions have already begun ordering through the portal sales.
Additionally, Zeynalov mentioned that more than 1,200 employees are working at the event, each of whom undergoes health checks and examinations.
