Reinforced concrete works for the second reservoir, with a capacity of 1,000 cubic meters in the city of Jabrayil, have been completed, while insulation works are ongoing, Azernews reports, citing the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency released this information.

It is reported that the work on the drawer chamber and guard room has also been completed. The main line, measuring 1,177 meters with a 280 mm diameter pipe, to the city entry point is fully ready.

"The first warehouse has been tested and put into operation. A 600 mm diameter pipe with a 5,300-meter sewer line has been built from the city exit," the report states.

A total of nine subartesian wells are planned to be drilled in the northern part of Jabrayil, with work already underway. In the initial stage, three wells will be drilled. Excavation works for these three artesian wells are planned in the Jabrayil city area. One of the wells, with a productivity of 12 liters per second, has seen the commissioning of the control room for subartesian well No. 6. As the population of the city increases, new wells will be dug.

"One geological exploratory well was drilled in 2023. The productivity of the selected source and water quality indicators allow for the supply of drinking water to the city and surrounding villages," Agency believes.
