Latvian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Edgars Skuja made this statement at the "B2B Forum" on "Green Technology and Sustainable Development" held in Baku, Azernews reports.
"Today, we reaffirm the sovereignty of Azerbaijan. We congratulate your country and wish you success in the reconstruction of Garabagh. I am confident that Azerbaijan will make this region even more beautiful. This marks a new stage for political dialogue, economic cooperation, and cultural exchange in our bilateral relations," he said.
The ambassador also discussed the strong and friendly ties between Latvia and Azerbaijan, expressing anticipation for the visit of the President of Latvia to Azerbaijan: "We are also planning the visit of the President of Azerbaijan to our country, as these visits are crucial for the development of our mutual relations."
