Azerbaijan, Qatar discuss co-opt within Joint Business Council
Azerbaijan and Qatar discussed cooperation within the scope of the Azerbaijan-Qatar Joint Business Council, Azernews reports, citing the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA).
The Chairman of SMBDA Orkhan Mammadov met with the President of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry Khalifa Bin Jasem Al Thani, who is paying visiting to Azerbaijan to attend the 35th meeting of the Board of Directors of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (ICCIA).
The meeting discussed the cooperation within the framework of the Azerbaijan-Qatar Joint Business Council and on holding the first meeting of the council with the participation of entrepreneurs from both countries this year.
It is worth noting that an agreement was signed between SMBDA and the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2022 on establishing Azerbaijan-Qatar Joint Business. The Business Council supports the projects of entrepreneurs, and businesses, including special establishment among SMEs, organization of work, and additional information, which are further developed on the basis of bilateral economic and trade between Azerbaijan and Qatar.
