Azeri gov’t predicts 2% inflation
Inflation will be insignificant in Azerbaijan in
2009, says the State Statistics Committee chairman.
Arif Valiyev told reporters that projected inflationary levels will not exceed 2% this year.
Price rises constituted only 0.4% in October, while average inflation in January-October was reported at 1.2%.
Single-digit inflation will be maintained in 2010, averaging 4-5%, according to the Committee chairman.*
