AccessBank supports entrepreneurs suffered losses in Baku's Diglas shopping center fire

The board of AccessBank has decided to restructure the loans issued to the entrepreneurs who suffered losses as a result of fire in the Diglas shopping center in the Nizami district of Baku, Chairman of the board of AccessBank Anar Hasanov said.
“A corresponding commission was created in the bank immediately after the fire,” Hasanov added, Trend reports referring to the bank.
Hasanov stressed that the decision on restructuring the loans of entrepreneurs was made on the basis of information collected by the commission.
“According to the decision, those who have taken micro loans and suffered as a result of fire can take advantage of a grace period of up to six months since April 2, 2019,” he said. “The annual interest rate during the grace period will reach ten percent. The commission continues to work and we may consider the issuance of benefits for our clients in the future on the basis of additional information.”
“Thirty-one entrepreneurs will be able to use the benefits,” Hasanov said. “The volume of the portfolio to be restructured exceeds 200,000 manats.”
“Azerbaijan rendered assistance to entrepreneurs who suffered losses as a result of fire in a shopping center,” he said. “AccessBank also decided to support its customers during such hard days.”
AccessBank always helps customers who have faced difficulties. The fire in the Diglas shopping center occurred on March 26 morning.
On March 29, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on rendering financial assistance to entrepreneurs who suffered losses as a result of fire in the Diglas shopping center in the Nizami district of Baku.
