Swiss State Secretary impressed with Holcim project

On October 30, 2018, Mr. Mauro Dell'Ambrogio, the State Secretary for Education, Research and Innovation of the Swiss Confederation, visited Training & Consulting and Information Centre which is called as Holcim Academy in the framework of his visit to Azerbaijan.
Along with the Swiss official, the Ambassador of Switzerland, board of directors of Holcim Azerbaijan, and other quests attended the meeting.
The uniqueness of the centre is creating opportunity for masters in construction sector to increase their profits by increasing professionalism and by using of innovative technologies.
Along with education, one of the main advantages of the academy is providing practical information about products application of new construction materials.
In addition, people who want to become a plasterer, bricklayer occupation can participate in free trainings and seminars at the centre and gain a new profession that will have a positive impact to decrease unemployment rate. Most importantly, participants can choose from list of curriculum as well as offer a new topic that interests them.
