1,900 tons of livestock products exported from western Iran

Head of the Veterinary Organization of the East Azarbaijan in northwestern Iran said during the first six months of the current Iranian year (beginning March 21, 2018), over 1,920 tons of raw livestock products have been exported from the province, IRNA reports.
Amir Hossein Behdad said on Saturday the products which were
exported to 12 countries included meat powder, chicken feet,
livestock concentrates and honey.
He referred to the careful health monitoring and said during the
first half of the current year, 28,000 chickens and 25,000 trout
have been exported to Azerbaijan.
Behdad noted experts at the Veterinary Organization of East
Azerbaijan have also monitored the transit of over 288 tons of
livestock products and 56,200 raw bovine skins.
Turkey, Vietnam, Iraq, Azerbaijan, Lebanon, Malaysia, the United
Arab Emirates, Oman, Canada, Georgia and Germany are the export
destinations of the Iranian province.
East Azarbaijan is a major hub of livestock products in Iran, which
in addition to satisfying domestic needs, exports significant
quantities of its products.
