Baku to host Azerbaijan-Russia business meeting

Business meeting between Azerbaijani and Russian businessmen will be held in the Baku Business Center on November 16, the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) said in a message on November 14.
The meeting, organized with the support of the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan-Russia Business Council and AZPROMO, will be held as part of the visit of a group of entrepreneurs from St. Petersburg, specializing in various industries, to Azerbaijan.
According to Azerbaijan’s State Customs Committee, the trade turnover with Russia amounted to $1.43 billion in nine months of 2017 that is 5.9 percent more than in the same period of 2016.
Russia is one of Azerbaijan’s main trade partners. The country accounts for 4.82 percent of Azerbaijani export and 16.86 percent of import.
