Customs revenues of Azerbaijan’s state budget grow

Azerbaijan’s State Customs Committee transferred about 2.17 billion manats to the state budget in January-October 2017 that is by 17.9 percent more than in the same period of 2016, reads the Committee’s report.
The Committee transferred more than 217 million manats to the budget in October 2017. Revenues from customs duties amounted to 67.37 million manats, revenues from value added tax (VAT) hit 138.18 million manats, revenues from excise duty amounted to 8.54 million manats, and revenues from highway-user tax were 2.93 million manats in October.
Revenues from the customs duties increased by 18 percent in October 2017 compared to October 2016. Revenues from VAT rose by 17.5 percent, revenues from excise duty rose by 45.2 percent and revenues from highway-user tax increased by 17.7 percent.
The forecast on customs revenues of Azerbaijan’s state budget is 2.25 billion manats for 2017.
