AZAL stops its flights to Ganja
Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) has stopped its domestic flights en route Baku–Ganja–Baku due to unprofitability on these flights.
Ganja is Azerbaijan's second largest city with a population over 320,000. The city is 375 km west of Baku.
Daily flights on route Baku–Ganja-Baku have been carried out since August 2013.
Azerbaijan Airlines, AZAL, is the national flag carrier operating flights to destinations across Asia, the CIS, Europe and the USA. The country was ranked the 8th in the list of international flights charging an average of $3.02 per 100 km, while its legacy airlines cost is $6.25 per 100 km.
