AZPROMO, MRC Global sign MoU

American MRC Global, a leading global distributor of pipe, valve and fitting (PVF), products and services to the energy and industrial markets is considering possibility of entry to the Azerbaijani market, Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) reported.
The issue was high on the agenda during the meeting between the representatives of AZPROMO and MRC Global. Participants of the meeting got acquainted with the business environment as well as investment climate and transit opportunities of Azerbaijan.
The sides signed a memorandum of understanding on mutual cooperation at the end of the meeting.
Being established in 1921 and headquartered in Houston, Texas, the company comprises MRC Transmark, MRC Solberg Andersen, MRC Energy Piping, MRC Teamtrade, MRC Flangefitt, MRC MSD Engineering. The output of the company is mainly used in oil and gas industry and is being delivered to more than 100 countries around the world.
AZPROMO is a joint public-private-initiative, established by the Ministry of Economy and Industry of Azerbaijan in 2003 with the aim to contribute to the economic development through attracting foreign investments.
