Baku 2015 presented in European Parliament

The European Parliament has seen a presentation of Baku 2015
European Games.
A ceremony brought together a delegation led by Azad Rahimov,
Azerbaijani Minister of Youth and Sports and Chief Executive
Director of the Operating Committee of the European Games, and Mark
Tarabella, MP, members of political parties, representatives of
European institutes, media, as well as the diplomatic corps
accredited in Brussels.
Rahimov spoke about preparations for the Baku 2015 first European
Games.
Representative of European External Action Service Chris Kendall
spoke about relations between Azerbaijan and the European
Union.
The participants viewed a promotional video about the Baku 2015
Games.
Azerbaijan’s capital, Baku is finalizing all preparations to the grandiose event. The Games will see 6,000 athletes from 50 countries to compete in 20 sports, 16 of which are Olympic.
Earlier, the historic sport event was also presented at the Egmont Palace in Brussels.
