Heydar Aliyev Sports Arena getting ready for Baku-2015

The first European Games scheduled for June 12-28 in Baku, will be held in 21 stadiums and facilities.
One of such venues is Heydar Aliyev Sports Arena, which is now closed for repair works. It will be ready for commissioning by the end of February.
Renovation of two building complexes that started in December
2014 has been completed.
The first floor of the building has three rooms. Wrestling, sambo
and judo competitions will be held in the main hall during the
European Games. Training and dining room will function with an area
of 750 square meters for the preparation of athletes.
The draw procedure and doping control rooms are located on the
first floor hall.
The major construction “A + A” Company said that complex will have
food stations for spectators and visitors.
The second floor will reside a lobby and food stations, the upper floor - a VIP and administrative rooms for more comprehensive management.

technology cabinets will operate on the same floor.
There are rooms for security on the fourth floor and two large
monitors. Video surveillance and commentators will be placed on the
5th floor.
The biggest sporting event in Azerbaijan's history, the Baku 2015 European Games will attract more than 6,000 athletes to represent 49 countries in 20 sports.
There will be a total of 20 sports at Baku 2015: 16 Olympic sports and four non-Olympic sports. Eleven of the sports will offer qualification opportunities for the Rio Summer Olympics in 2016.
