Transport infrastructure to be ready for Baku European Games

Problems arising in the transport sector will be settled in a timely manner prior to the start of the First European Games in Baku in 2015.
Azerbaijani Deputy Transport Minister Musa Panahov made the
remark on September 17.
The program of activities, which will be carried out as part of the
Games, is large and covers a wide range of issues, he said.
These activities include reconstruction of the transport
infrastructure, creation of parking lots near the sports
facilities, and addressing the public transport issues in these
areas.
The program also envisages creation of parking lots on Baku's
outskirts for vehicles coming from country's regions.
Baku European Games 2015 is an exciting and innovative new
multi-sport event for the continent, which will take place in June
12-28, 2015.
There games will include a total of 20 sports that will gather more than 6,000 athletes.
