The US has recognized Azerbaijan's importance in the global energy landscape. During the 11th ministerial meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council and the 3rd ministerial meeting of the Green Energy Advisory Council, Eric Jacobs, Senior Advisor to the US Department of State’s Bureau of Energy Resources, emphasized the long-standing and successful energy partnership between the two countries. Jacobs highlighted that the Southern Gas Corridor is a cornerstone of US-Azerbaijan relations, providing Azerbaijan with the opportunity to use its vast energy resources to benefit not only its own economy but also regional stability.
