Water scarcity is a critical issue that has plagued humanity for generations. Most certainly we can easily say it has turned into a problem since climate change showed its bitter face. Azerbaijan is also one of the countries that suffer from water scarcity. Azerbaijan's water resources are limited compared to other countries in the South Caucasus and are only 15 percent of all water resources in the region.
