Although the issue of Armenia-France anti-Azerbaijan campaigns has become somewhat passive on the agenda due to the uncertainty in French politics following the recent elections, the Armenian lobby continues its activities in different places. Radical Armenian groups from separatist remnants, who chose Europe as a massive area for themselves, shout anti-Azerbaijani slogans under the so-called "artsakh" slogan. They are protesting the arrest of separatist leaders who once were tyrans in Garabagh. Everyone knows that such dramatic scenes have been designed for special purposes. Even the Armenian authorities, fed up with them, are very happy today because of the arrest of Ruben Vardanyan, Araik Harutyunyan, and other separatist elements.

The Armenians who left Garabagh on their own volition for a long time believed in the promises of separatist elements imprisoned in Baku and now regret everything that happened. When Ruben Vardanyan left all his business, from arms trading to smuggling, and came to Garabagh with a passion for leadership, he did not think about the future. Throwing into a political game and relying on the guesswork of someone who does not understand politics was like losing his life in gambling. By keeping Azerbaijani lands under occupation for more than 30 years, they thought that after that they would be able to change the times for their own good. However, every passing minute brought them closer to their arrest and the destruction of the so-called regime they had established.

The laws of Azerbaijan would one day be applied to the occupied territories, and in the end, it is the group of 23 separatist criminals in the Baku prison who are receiving their deserved punishment today. Azerbaijan has a word for those who question this: What were you doing in the territories of Azerbaijan?

During the September 19 anti-terrorist operations, the Republic of Armenia has repeatedly addressed this issue in several statements. The fact that no civilians were harmed during the operations and that only armed terrorist groups were the target proves it once again. The second main issue is that Azerbaijan has a full legal right to take measures to combat terrorist groups in its sovereign territories, and interference by foreign forces is against international law.

And finally, the third main issue is the attempts of Armenian lobby organisations operating abroad to boycott the COP29 international event that will be held in Azerbaijan this year. In that statement, which is similar to cynicism, it is said that Azerbaijan cannot make any contribution to climate-related initiatives, even though it is supposedly an oil and gas country.

First, Azerbaijan is one of the few countries that has over-implemented all climate-related initiatives. Participating in the global initiative, Azerbaijan duly fulfils its obligations until 2030. For example, Azerbaijan joined the "Global Methane Pledge" initiative, which aims to limit methane emissions by 30 percent by 2030 compared to 2020. In addition, the updated document in 2023 includes a new commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 40 percent by 2050. In addition, it was announced that the Garabagh and Eastern Zangazur economic regions will be transformed into decarbonisation zones by 2050.

As for increasing natural gas production, science also confirms that underground natural resources cannot pose any threat to the climate. Although the waste conversion and consumption of other products produced from oil affect the environment, it cannot be considered correct to apply this to the consumption of natural gas.

For this reason, radical Armenian groups trying to denigrate Azerbaijan at any cost cannot argue this issue before the UN or any international organisation. Azerbaijan carries out all work in an orderly manner and, at the same time, tries to play the role of guarantor of peace and security in the region.
