The first-ever flight show of aircraft models in Baku enthralled and mesmerized guests and residents of the city last weekend.
The dazzling flight show and an exhibition of aircraft models took place at the park of the Heydar Aliyev Center in cooperation with the National Academy of Aviation.
The show exhibited more than 30 aircraft models that were previously presented at international competitions and festivals. Other 10 radio-controlled aircraft models carried out various maneuvers in the sky above the park of the Center, mesmerizing the visitors.
The spectators were informed about the flight trajectory and about each model. The audience met each performance with interest and applause.
At the same time, professional pilots, designers and teaching staff of the National Aviation Academy conducted practical trainings for those interested in the design, construction and management of aircraft models.
The purpose of the event is the effective organization of leisure for children and adolescents, supporting the development of their skills and abilities. The event will also help to instill the skills of practical design, preparation and operation of unmanned aerial vehicles.
